Rats in the Ranks

Vote #1 Larry Hand!

Classic doco.

Perhaps more relevant now than ever.

Loved Albo's off-screen cameo.

Draw it out of a hat...

Braveheart.
Watched it again yesterday. Never gets old.

Particularly like the Irish bloke.

This can't be William Wallace. I'm prettier than this man.

Watched the Inbetweeners movie yesterday. Pretty simple but some good laughs in amongst it. For a teenage hi-jinx movie its well worth having a look at

Leichhardt.

Very funny. Was on ABC2 Sunday night. Available on iView at the moment.

Could easily do one on Marrickville Council.

Not sure if that would be a farce or tragi-comedy...

The Descendants

Writer/director Alexander Payne delivers another superbly crafted fillum.

George has the Best Actor Oscar in the bag.

No explosions, robots or vampires...

Dear David Fincher,

Really enjoyed The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the latest film to showcase your consummate skill as a director.

However, what happened to the lesbian sex scene?

We pretty much get every other sex scene: rape, revenge rape, silver bullet dildo up the clacker, bored sex, a bit of howdy doody, let's get it on raunch.

But then you skip over the girls?

Given the other sex scenes didn't leave much to the imagination, I was expecting some Mullholland Drive (Naomi Watts/Laura Elena Harring) or Black Swan (Natalie Portman/Mmmmila Kunisssss) type action.

Is screenwriter Steven Zaillian to blame?

Regards,

Magpiespower.

The Changeup

Same premise as Freaky Friday. Two mates wish they had each others lifes, piss into a magic fountain on a night out, wake up in each others bodies, yadda yadda...

Some of the baby scenes are hilarious.
