Rose & Crown 6/209 (D. Jenner 101 - 2nd 50 off about 18 balls, N. Brookes 50)
d
Central United 6/160 odd? (Bagster 50* and Fenwick 36)

From 1/27 - 2/183, Jenner & Brookes set us up superbly, unfortunately the excitement of a few overs remaining and wickets in the shed along with good bowling from Woodward seen us tumble to 6/209, probably 20 or so runs shy of what we should have got.

Bagster and Fenwick I thought batted brilliantly and gave the Units every chance of winning, unfortunately Fenwick found the fielder far too often and his 36 took too long, but their partnership definately had a few R&C lads worried for a while there thats for sure!

OKC! if by Sibbick, you mean Jamie Sibbick then the answer is no. He bowls some serious garbage. No idea how he gets wickets.

What do you have to do to get a garden gnome permit? It was either a garden gnome or a 7 year old girl.

Just a thought.. why didnt you ask us yesterday if we needed a permit?poor form

Bags def batted well but Fenwick didn't seem to take a risk and if he could do it again I am sure he would of taken the bowling on a bit more, clearly he can bat though. After drinks I was always confident of winning with some good bowling by Bedgy and Daniel. Also was a great knock by DJ.. Chance less ton.

we were taught a lesson on how to rotate the strike and take the easy singles, 38 run loss was probly the 38 singles dj and brookes took, dj batted excellent, brookes had some luck, was run out by a good 10/12 inches, only one not to think so was the ump..... 6/171 would have won most other games... thats cricket.. try again next week...ps, bags the dirty slapper had some luck too :D :D

depends on what team did what... if it was eastern park or virginia who made the mistake, it would be, haha, bad luck , the fielder cant bat.. but if it was a team that we liked, we could come to a sporting captains agreement and see the honest mistake.. :D

Interesting part was during the teams batting innings it was told to us by one of their own team mates that it wasnt just an honest mistake and that the named player hadnt shown up. When told to quickly discuss with the opposition the person in question decided he would wait to the 20th over and then claim it was an honest team sheet error.

VERY VERY VERY POOR FORM!

when we are 1for 60 at drinks then hit 209, I think it was the clean hitting from Daniel that won us the game, not the singles, you where the only one to hit them clean and just needed the big fella down the other end to clear the rope a few times and it was game on.

Still enough time for a pot shot or two? No diff to just "popping" onto this forum and doing it? Or is it easier when sitting in front of you computer?
