Shaun Tait, the Australia fast bowler, has pulled out of the 2011-12 domestic Twenty20 campaign of the Dolphins, the Durban-based South African franchise, due to injury concerns to his bowling elbow. The Dolphins said in a release that Tait's condition required long-term remedial therapy, including rest, ruling him out of South Africa's domestic T20 series starting next month.

What is he made of???

His body lets him down in 20/20 cricket, but people bag him because he isn't playing longer versions of the game :o)

I'm glad he has decided to take a rest, bit of time off.

Will do him some good. I don't like seeing big strong fast bowlers work too hard.

Lets be fair Taity does not help himself like all sportsman the less you play the less conditioning you take into games. simply he is not playing any grade etc and just relying on T20 to get your performance is very dangerous for future contracts. If you have a bad series your under the pump. His biggest problem has been dropping out of series games and performance when needed and this deserves to be questioned by team and team mates. I hope he comes good the T20 is better off for having a Shaun Tait playing

Played for his home club Nairne in the A&EHCA last Saturday for the 1st time since about 1998 i think.
Bowled 4 overs 0 wkt for 14. Reports are he bowled at reduced pace and no short stuff.
Made 3 with the bat.
