No worries bud, fair to say you'll be back in it if that prospers.

I think you're in with a sniff, Units can win if they bat their overs out and Smitty to cause the upset of the year because I wont be there.

GRADE 2
Craigmore 74.75
ATCO 66.22
Eastern Park 64.53
Riverside 63.65

Salisbury West 55.14
Salisbury North 40.26
Central United 34.20
One Tree Hill 30.03

ROUND 9
Units vs ATCO
Riverside vs Goats
Sal. Nth vs Parkers
Craigmore vs Westies

It would appear that Westies loss to Salisbury North last week has put a real dent in their finals aspirations, they will now need to knock off one of the top 4 to have any sort of sniff, they do play One Tree Hill though in a two-dayer at home in round 13 so if they can take maximum points out of that it could be enough, need other results to land their way though.
I'm liking ATCO at this stage, good to see the top 3 teams all have plenty of youth in them.

Leading Runs
C.Edge (Riverside) 386 @ 55.14
A.Colbourne (Riverside) 249 @ 31.13
L.Harris (Riverside) 248 @ 27.56

Leading Wickets
R.Parker (ATCO) 24 @ 9.83
A.Hewitt (Craigmore) 24 @ 10.50
M.Bennetts (Sal. Nth) 21 @ 17.14

GRADE 3
Angle Vale 93.64
ATCO 73.25
Rose & Crown 66.49
Craigmore 60.18

Smithfield 59.71
North Pines 52.00
Parafield Gardens 46.79
Virginia 23.61

ROUND 9
ATCO vs Rosies
Virginia vs Craigmore
Gardens vs Vale
Smitty vs Pines

Angle Vale seem certain to take out the minor premiership but will be tested against ATCO who have a good blend of youth and experience. North Pines will need to knock off Smithfield this week to keep in touch with the 4. Smithfield has been inconsistent this season and last week's flogging should give them a good kick up the arse, 3 handy inclusions this week should see them field probably their best side for the season so far.
This Grade looks as though it will go all the way to the final round with 4 teams vying for 2 spots, I reckon ATCO will start to skip away from the pack a bit now.

Leading Runs
A.Fry (Angle Vale) 278 @ 55.60
D.McIver (Craigmore) 268 @ 268.00
A.McConnell (Parafield Gdns) 264 @ 44.00

Leading Wickets
M.Townley (Angle Vale) 29 @ 9.17
M.Fitzgerald (ATCO) 25 @ 6.92
A.Ashley (Rosies) 22 @ 16.16

Elizabeth East 92.69
Para Teachers 90.11

Salisbury West 54.49
Craigmore 34.60
ATCO 33.24
Wasleys 20.97

ROUND 9
Eliz. East vs Teachers
Wasleys vs ATCO
Parkers vs Two Wells
Craigmore vs Westies

No real surprises here, daylight between the top and bottom 4 as was recognised early on in the season, all 4 finals bound teams are capable of taking it out though.

Leading Runs
J.Kovatseff (Eastern Park) 542 @ 54.2
R.Bond (Westies) 396 @ 44.00
P.Deidrichsen (Eastern Park) 289 @ 32.11

GRADE 5
Central United 86.23
Angle Vale 67.36*
Rose & Crown 65.26
Smithfield 57.22

Riverside 52.70*
North Pines 45.18
Eastern Park 39.61**
ATCO 27.25
*Denotes played one less match
** Started in round 3

ROUND 9
Rosies vs Units
Pines vs Smitty
ATCO vs Riverside
Parkers vs Vale

An experienced Central United side leads the way in Grade 5 as they are currently undefeated. A grade that has been difficult to pick winners due to some indifferent form, anyone between 2nd and 7th are capable of knocking each other off and the finals race should go right to the line.

Leading Runs
A.Richardson (Angle Vale) 268 @ 67.00
M.Howell (Rosies) 267 @ 44.50
D.Shannon (Riverside) 259 @ 37.00

Casting an eye over mofflin reserve today and noticed early in the central united batting innings that Rosie's had a garden gnome fielding on the mid wicket fence?

What do you have to do to get a garden gnome permit? It was either a garden gnome or a 7 year old girl.

What would people expect to happen if this situation arose in one of their games.

Captains go to do the toss, team sheets are exchanged!

Team goes out and bats and then at the 20 over drink break opposition captain and umpire come up and explain that on the team sheet a wrong name was written and that the correct name was a bloke who had fielded the first 20 overs. The fielding side have 11 blokes on the field from ball one and at no stage was the batting side or umpire informed that the fielding side had a 12th man on the park.
