Worst I've seen for the season, I must say the standard has been good this year though. Wides and LBW's were too inconsistent and incorrect.

Yeah I think tony would be the first to admitt he had a stinker, He wasnt keen on standing anywhere near bj

I didn't even get the chance to ask any of our players whether they thought BJ got bat on it, our club got flooded and we couldn't go back there, Mark Waugh edged every LB he got against him and didn't edge every caught behind. ;)
I thought we were 1 all with LB's when we batted, not good enough though, LB's aren't hard, if they're out, give em, not out, don't.
Caught behinds are more difficult IMO, as frustrating as it is to be on the wrong end of one, I can accept them mistakes easier.

Bj def wasnt happy which is good enough for me..Yeah well I think caught behinds are pretty easy unless the umpire is deaf, whers as for lbw its a case of did it hit in line, pitch on leg, to high, to wide, and to be fair thats abit to much for some umpires to assorb in 2 sec with 11 blokes going up.

Well you'd be a better judge on BJ than me, in my experiences of umpiring I've found it harder to determine the caught behinds as there's a noise, bat swinging, did they clip their pad or did the ball clip it, it's the one thing that puts me off umpiring, I feel crap if I end someone's innings by making an incorrect decision.

Didnt realise BJ hit the ball, just went up thinking i had him plumb. Sucks getting out like that knowing deep down you hit the ball or with a caught behind you were no where near it. I hate when a bowler knows you hit the ball first but still goes exstactly, had one against brahma a few years back now from there one and only, to be told he knew id knicked it onto my pads, very frustrating
