Dunno if anyone else does, but I use my thumb to text.

I do and I have very few problems

my HTC android has pretty good predictive dictionary and I usually select the word I'm trying to type unless its not in there I just add it in anyway.

Yeah I use my thumbs, I'm kind of lucky besides being a fat drunk I've always had slender and long hands/fingers/thumbs. Mind you I probably didn't think I was so lucky when I was breaking/dislocating them all the time when I played sports.
I love Qwerty and hate the old fashion phones setup ( you can probably remember our days as trainess Gadj when I was the only guy who knew how to touch type) but I can see where you're coming from as I can just handle the keyboard with my fingers/thumbs. If my fingers/thumbs were any bigger I'd definately be frustrated.

Anyone else hanging for the S3?

Loads of rumors about realease dates, speccs etc.

I've got an iPhone 3GS, and the iP4G is a complete letdown, so it's not an option.

Predictions for an s3 release date?

I reckon April. Hoping earlier!

At least mid-2012, thats why I got a S2 for now. By then I'll be out of contract and should get one for nothing.

If it were my phone, no problem. It's a work phone so they pay, I just want it done quickly and well.

Oh, in that case, try http://www.alltechi.com.au/

I remember ringing them before Christmas for a work colleague and they said if you want an express turn around, it costs extra - but I was very surprised by how cheap it was.

Finished up at Axiom in the city.

Alltech were $200 and would take one week.
Axiom were $250 and did it in 30 minutes.

So I've upgraded to the Nexus, which now doesn't charge on the charger they gave me. So my wife goes into Telstra and asks for a new phone. Instead they give her a new charger, a HTC one that charges my Samsung Nexus. I have a Samsung Galaxy, a Galaxy II and a Nexus charger and none of them work. The HTC does and so does my dad's Nokia charger! Weird!

Very because it's just a micro USB cable.

Maybe the HTC one is a tighter fit and the pins connect

Very possibly right.
Plug in the chargers and stick a cheap multimeter across the contact points and check that they are delivering current and at what voltage.
If they are, and the voltage is right - just a touch above the nominal voltage - the pin fit is the issue.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

That's the thing - the Nexus charger "wobbles" when its in (ie, it's loose). I had to position it carefully and then jam it against something to keep it aligned so it'd charge. That became a bit of a joke though cos if you touched it while it was charging, it would lose connection completely.

The HTC and the Nokia fit tight and I have no problems with either connection.
