As a kid, from my grandma, me and about a dozen of my cousins got a light blue bonds t-shirt each valued at about $1.86 from Big W whilst the chosen cousin unwrapped a $127 remote control truck in front of the rest of us.

That used to happen on Dad's side of the family when I was a kid. I'd either get nothing, or some cheap puzzle game while my sister and other cousins would all get something decent.

And they wonder why I have very little to do with them
