You must have missed the game at Woodville when you beat us with the last kick of the day.

I think you will find West did pay the fee as Motlop was a North player before being AFL listed. In any case it doesn't much matter now we have pocketed the $$$.

I think you will find you are wrong

Wrong - really???

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/marlon-motlop-heading-west-for-game-time/story-e6frecj3-1226045864156

Line 2 of the above attached article says the following:

FORGOTTEN Port Adelaide utility Marlon Motlop is likely to announce a transfer to West Adelaide. Motlop, fighting to save his AFL career, has been forced to sit on the sidelines for the past fortnight while the Roosters and Bloods come to a financial agreement. But it seems the 21-year-old will almost certainly land at Richmond, when squads for round five of the SANFL are named today. "We should have it all done tomorrow morning (today). Hopefully a resolution is not too far away," West Adelaide operations manager Scott Turner said. "All parties have been doing their best to get it sorted out and while we would like these things to be done straight away, it's not always the case. Hopefully we can get him out there this week."

Yeah Cassissi and Moran were a real hinderance in Round 11 at Prospect!
Good one! ;)

Seems as though your "Operations Manager" acknowledged the issue.

What would an "operations manager" do at Westies anyway?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Casissi played one game for the year.

Most people would think at players such as Moran, Davenport, Lobbe and Pettigrew would have contributed more than they did.

Exactly and IMHO was best on ground in that one game of the year and Moran kicked at least 3, hardly a hinderance as mentioned. I assumed you were joking.

So the Advertiser story is incorrect in content and quotes from your then Operations Manager? If that was the case I am sure the WAFC would have complained and the Advertiser printed a retraction. You can continue to believe what you like but being a West supporter I can understand how your whole world is delusional!

Where exactly in the article does it say West paid all of the transfer fee?
There is no mention of the fee or who is paying it.

The statement that they were trying to come to a financial agreement hardly excludes the involvement of another party. You can roll your eyes till they come out the back of your head, the fact Is West did not pay all of the transfer fee, Port paid part.

It means West gave North a can of coke and a burnt pasty for him, West have decided they got the raw end if the deal and are now asking for the can of coke to be retuned

Any club that paid cash for Andy Lee can't be too judgemental about another clubs willingness to stump up for flat out duds.
