Condolences to Moggy's family on their loss. The ABC and SANFL football fraternities have lost a passionate and loyal man. Won't be the same watching the telecasts. RIP Moggy.

Sad news, thoughts are with his family and friends. He was a lovely fellow who I met at work as well as through the SANFL. Wasn't given much time a few years ago but showed he was a fighter.

Very saddened to hear this news this morning.

Like Wedgie, I was lucky enough to meet Moggy during the course of work and enjoyed talking all things SANFL with him. Ian was one of the nicest blokes you'd ever want to meet and I never heard anybody have a bad word to say about him. RIP mate. My thoughts are with your family & friends.

A true gentleman who will be sorely missed by the SANFL community and all that knew him.

I just read this, absolutely terrible news and very very sad. Loved his stats, was a stats genius and such a great humble man.

The SANFL community definitely has lost a wonderful contributor. While I had never met him in person, on here he had been a great source of information. And going by his posts, every much a gentleman as others have outlined. RIP, Ian.
