Time for Siddle to come in and reset the rhythm from last night I reckon.

One thing that has impressed me about Clarke's captaincy is that he's not afraid to ring the changes when necessary.

Ponting always seemed to drag his feet in that department IMO. Mind you he did have some fairly impotent bowling attacks to work with at times.

Yeah Nah Laxman just comes in pitch looks alot tougher with balls starting to get uneven bounce and he brings on Nathan Lyon. Bad move imho hope im wrong!

And gets hit for six runs of his first over with Laxman getting an easy boundary.

Laxman looking the goods, get the pace back onto him. The pitch was starting to do a few funny things with the quicker guys bowling.

He's been a bit hopeless with the gloves. That shit he was doing in the first innings in turning to somewhere, I think it was the media box each time he had a BASIC catch was rediculious.

I dont know about him anymore, I really think his time is up.

Yep and getting killed at the moment. But in saying that Laxman is very good against the spin.

Exactly so why bring him on when Laxman came in, setting him up to fail.

Yes I tend to agree with that. I dont think we will get Laxman out from Spin.

Bowl Warner.
Get some overs into him, his leggies are more likely to get a wicket than Lyon.

Clarke is working to a plan I reckon. He'll persist with Hilfy/Lyon for a few more overs then hit them with the Siddle/Pattinson combo in the lead up to lunch.

Great session by the Indian batsman, two more sessions like that and they will have a lead or close to a lead at stumps.

This game IMHO is far from over either way right now.

Aussies need at least 3 wickets in the next session to get back on top.

Hartley is my pick as well. Would have had him in the side two years ago. I know Wade and Paine are the ones talked up but Hartley has them covered IMHO.

When Manou got the gig, I would have given it to Hartley.

your not serious are you?????
That ashes came after a big two seasons for choc. Better batsman and keeper than Chris. Even Chris knew that

don't think he has been bowling with his sore back. And his leggies are not more likely to take a wicket than Nathan. He bowls to many long hops and half volleys
