Ponting has scored 4 x 50s and 1 x 100 in his last nine innings at ~48ish. I reckon most players would take that given Australia's recent effort with the bat. Hasn't been the Ponting of old, but he is still churning them over. Hopefully this is the start of a big 2012. On the ABC this morning, they mentioned that since Pontings last century 2 years ago, both Kallis and Tendulker have each hit 8 centuries. This one was a long time coming!
