Can anyone think of a worse captain than MS Dhoni? (International cricket that is)

As bad as this? I don't think so especially bearing in mind what he had to work with in comparison. He wasn't good though i agree.

I have heard Slazenger has gone bust and will not have any cricket gear from now on.

Makes me wonder if we are right to be putting our 3 best batsman at 4-6 and then trying to fill 1-3 with newbies. I know Watson missing doesn't help and Punter, Clarke or Hussey can't open. But could Punter return to 3 and we leave the newbie spot at the less difficult number 6?
In between signatures .....

Watson to open and Cooper at 3.

CLARKE
The moment
3/229
Clarke and Ponting in a 192 partnership
Clarke on strike, on off stump, Clarke launches into a cover drive
It penetrates the stacked offside field and rockets to the fence for 4
That same shot that gets him out as well, and causes a few Clarke knockers to havago at him
But the Clarke fan club, recognize this shot as a signature scoring shot, the one that gets him a plethora of runs at this level, the one he MUST keep playing
What a ton, his 4th as a skipper, made in 136 balls

AU 3/37 and now 3/236 at Lunch
189 partnership
Clarke 103*[142]
Ponting 97*[142]

PONTING
IF he gets those 3 runs after lunch , its probably going to be one of the sweetest of all tons for Ponting
In my opinion probably his best ton in his career
To be well below form
To be at an age where its all but down hill for most Test cricketers
To be able to do this with the Indians on top at 3/37
To be a ton virgin for almost 2 years
To be able to do this will be a wonderful wonderful achievement

Im sure a lot of cricket pundists are asking the same question
Should Ricky be batting at 3 now
Makes sense to bat him as from 3 NOW, but makes sense to leave him at 4 as well
He has found form batting at 4, so to answer your question, dunno !
