MR 8/140 [20]
0/81 [10]
To finish with 8/140 was the seasons worst batting performance
HODGE 44 [31] the champ is back
FINCH 41 [34]
The rest average
Poor finish
Some big hitters were next to useless
Maxwhirrrrrl 10 [15]
Afridi 16[14]
Reardon 4 [8]
Razzaq 13 [13]
These guys were shocking , they tried to bash, but constantly did not middle them
Abbott 2/21 [4] an improver
Butterworth 2/27[4] great job when MR were well on top

ST 7/134 [20] the seasons worst batting performance ....
Were 2/109 [15]
32 needed if 30 balls
And they absolutely f...d it up
Pathetic effort, one of the worst batting performances Ive ever seen
Gayle 75 [54]
The rest 48[66]
11 extras
The rest mainly just tried to give Gayle the strike
And then at the end even Gayle batted like an old mole at times
Tait 2/31[4] first 2 overs poor, last 2 overs exceptional
Harwood 2/26[3] he still hazit
Afridi 3/21 [4] outstanding, his effort turned the momentum of the game

ITS OK I WILL MENTION IT
Taits 18th over was the match winning over
Took 1/3
Tait bowled the last over 1/8
He cops a lot of flak, but he is a good 20/20 bowler

MY VOTES
3 GAYLE
2 AFRIDI
1 HODGE

I will bitch and moan about Shaun Tait for a lack of commitment, a lack of dedication and countless other things, that has seen him turn his back on FC, ODD, and ODI cricket, but he is a good bowler in T20 cricket.
It is a hit and miss type of game, one week he may take 5/5, the next 0/40...

And how is that any different to any batsman in T20 that gets 50 off 25 one week and 5 off 15 the next

You mean the T20 guys who have had long international careers (Hayden, Gibbs types), Young guys trying to break through (as seen with Lyon, Cummins), and the lads who are still regular first class cricketers (McDonald, Quiney, Klinger type players).

He is different because he is simply a T20 hack.

That is all.

Sydney Blunders 8/138
Were 1/90 [11]
Scored 48 runs in the next 54 balls
Some of their batsman seem to want to get themselves in, rather than score quickly
Gayle 53 [33]
Abbott 39[39] at least he tried to hit the ball, just didnt have the talent tonight to score quick enough
Same old story the rest including Abbott made 76 off 87 balls
Just imagine if Gayle gets out early
NAVED 3/22 [4] the best bowler in the comp
LAUGHLIN 1/21[4] bowled superbly to Gayle
JOHNSON 1/20[4] another who bowled well at Gayle
KREZJA 2/29[4]
DOHERTY 1/45[4]

Tasmania should eat this total
But if ST get Birt out early enough they will have a sniff

HH 5/139 ]18.4]
BOOM BOOM BIRT 35[18] at the risk of repeating myself AGAIN whatta batsman
SHAH 41 *[32] got them home, very talented
WELLS 29[36]
COYTE 2/14 [4] And I thought this guy was ordinary not so long ago

Hurricanes just keep winning

MY VOTES
3 GAYLE
2 COYTE
1 BIRT

Had trouble deciding on 2nd and 3rd votes
Is 35 off 18 balls going in after Jaques got a 1st ball blob
Or 2/14 off 24 balls with the ball a better performance

When in doubt go with the guy who was on the winning side.

Hobart just keep on winning. The Thunder are no good, only one batsmen of class.

JACQUES 18[19] Too slow, let his team down
PONTING 17[19] useless, soaked up too many balls, put the rest of the line up under pressure
BIRT 40[30] very good batsman
SHAH 24[19] interesting batsman, might be ok, slow and poor runner
TRIFFIT 20[15] did ok

BEER 2/18[4] outstanding effort
EDMONDSON 4/40[4] too expensive !!!!!
MARSH 0/25 [4] bowled better than that, impressive

Poor effort by the Hurricanes, wooden spoon contenders on that effort

PERTH SCORCHERS 109
GIBBS 2[5] is he too old now ?
NORTH 16 [18] getting older, simply an average 20/20 cricketer
KATICH 8[8] too old batting like a ''hack''
M HUSSEY 0[6] too old for this caper, terrible innings
COLLINGWOOD 4 [13] too old, but was 1st up, might improve
RONCHI 13[16] disappointing effort by this thirtysomething
HOGG 1 [1] way tooooo old
RIMMINGTON 22[14] batted too low, needs to bat at 5 in this line up
MARSH 35[35] tried hard, can score quicker

HILFENHAUS 2/10[4] outstanding effort, one of the best 20/20 bowling spells Ive seen
DOHERTY 1/15[4] very good spinner in this format, great spell
KREZJA 1/15[3] good effort
NAVED 2/27 [3.4] wicket taking superstar

Hobart Hurricanes beat the Perth Pensioners
Hurricanes might have the worst batting line up, but I reckon they have the best bowling line up in the comp
Dads Army need to look at their batting line up
Ronchi 3
Marsh 4
Rimmington 5
Thats their best chance of winning
How the hell does Hogg bat b4 Rimmington ?

My votes
3 HILFENHAUS
2 BIRT
1 EDMONSON

Rimmington, Marsh + Doherty had to be considered

Media Park
Heres the summary of THAT game on COMPLETION
MIGHT Have the worst batting batting line up
MIGHT HAVE the best bowling line up
