Games have there moments but the standard of behaviour has been a lot better and the standard of cricket overall has been higher in terms of a lot less cowboys and if you bowl decent line and length it gets respected.

Getting to play 2 Day Cricket has been really good and a lot more players have been getting a go so everyone is enjoying it.

Looking forward to the 2nd half of the season and hope we can hang on to 4th spot and play some finals cricket.

thats great to hear mate. good to see ASCA is alive and well in all grades

Lets see if there is another attempt to kill the ASCA at the next AGM with another Keswick proposal.

By the way is there a law on how many times a motion can be voted down before you can't bring it up again?

Now all the festivities are over, back to the cricket ! Predictions for the upcoming round :D

ICC v Belair - Close game but home advantage sees ICC sneak it
WYC V Ramblers - WYC to bounce back well after defeat by Belair in last round
South Rd V Coromandel - Another good game but Coro depth sees them win
Keswick V Morphy Park - Close game but Keswick 3 from last 3 & home ground, confidence high gets them home
Plympton V Sheidow - Plympton despite losing a couple of players before xmas, still too strong
Cove V Glenelg - Sorry but still no light at the end of the ANA tunnel - Cove to dominate

Good luck all & Happy New Year :)

The inaugural "Marion Hotel Cup" to be played this round between Morphie Parks & Keswick this round.
Should make for an interesting night at the pub next Saturday night when both clubs are drinking together.

Hehe, problem is Jabber, Bart actually wins cups, we are playing for a few, but not bringing many home just yet.
Maybe next round against you boys ;)

If you get a year when you win them all you will need extensions on your clubrooms!

Its great though, the more club rivalries (in good spirits) the better, I say.
