Interesting to see if there will be any changes for the third test by South Africa.
- Vern Philander looks as if he will be fit (do they drop Morkel or Tahir?)
- Will Rudolph and Price survive?

WOW they have never won a test match in India,

Strange considering having Murali in the attack for alot of that.

Touched up the Seth Efricans in this test. Seriously Australia beat them, now Sri Lanka, they might want to get there shit together or the 4th ranked side might over take then in the ICC rankings.

This is also why SA couldnt be top for so long.

Some of these countries like SA and India are starting to pay the price for not bringing more youth through.
Saffers are screwed when Kallis, Boucher and the like all finish up

Saffies might face the same situation we do....plenty of pace bowling options but no batsmen.

Yeah they have plenty of good quicks coming through but their batsmen are an issue. Guys like Rudolph and Prince are average and too much reliance on Smith at the top of the order

Yeah they Had McKenzie opening with Smith for a while. Seriously this guy was a massive dud. Ruldolf is not that much better either.

But on a serious note you are right, Kallis and Boucher will be the guys they will have to replace in the next few years. I dont rate Prince or Ruldolf some I'm not sure what they have in terms of depth.

As for India, well at some Tendulkar, Dravid, Sehwag, Laxman and probably Khan will move on. I reckon they will have a tough time replacing those guys. As Tendulkar and Dravid were both once in generation type players. I'm not sure what Depth they have, but thats 4 batsmen they will need to find.

Agree cant believe Prince still gets a game ahead of JP Duminy!

JP Duminy looked like a world beater last time they toured here.

Dean Elgar, the uncapped left-handed batsman, and seamer Rory Kleinveldt have been included in South Africa's 14-man squad for the first two one-day internationals against Sri Lanka. The series will also be the first chance for AB de Villiers as captain after injury meant he missed the matches against Australia.

Elgar, the Knights opening batsman, is the only rookie in the squad. Kleinveldt has already represented South Africa in two Twenty20 internationals, the latest one during the 2009 ICC World Twenty20 in the Caribbean.
