SS 9/166 [20]
BRAVO 51 [39] good move to make him the opener
ROHRER 29[19] goes good this format
THORNLEY 29[13]
HUSSEY 2/25[4]
WARNE 1/27[4]

MS 8/164
BAILEY 33[25]
HUSSEY 42[30] ran himself out, and perhaps cost his team a win
VOGES 31 [22]
SMITH 2/27[4] did a good job in the late overs

BRAVOS 4 run save was a highlight
MS should have won, when you have Simpson 9, Mckay 10, that means the other batters can bat a bit quicker as a rule
To run out of balls was disappointing

MY VOTES FWIW
3 BRAVO
2 THORNLEY
3 HUSSEY

especially when he was given not out when he was out hitting one to the keeper in the over before, and th ebrett lee no ball which got a wicket

one thing i think has been overlooked for the big bash is the standrad of umpiring - the fact that the palying stocks have been thinned with the expansion has been discussed but the umpires have also been thinned and that has shown in this series with some pretty poor decisions in most matches

Yes, those infallible test umpires would be better to have!

27.5k have rocked up to the SCG tonight - about double what the Thunder got on Friday night.

Looks like the majority of Sydney-siders have taken on the 6ers over the Thunder.

Think its the fact that the sixers play at the SCG, very easy to get to.
ANZ stadium is a shithole out in the middle of nowhere.
Have got rellies over there who refuse to go out there so they jumped on the sixers bandwagon.
Would think the diehard SCG members would be more chance of going there than ANZ

True - though the SCG can be a bit tricky to access with regular public transport (lucky when we went there it was a stop on the old Bondi Explorer bus), getting to ANZ Stadium on public transport is comparable to getting to AAMI Stadium on a regular bus route (either a train that operates about every 2.5 hours or ferry/bus).
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

put the mockers on that. Now just one win away from making the semis, with 4 to play

A turning point of the innings
PS were 4/126 [14.1]
A score of about 180 beckoned
Neser to Mitch Marsh
Full toss
Hits Mitch in the aggarts, sprawls him on the ground writhing in agony
Marsh out 2 balls later !!!!!!! [not a joke was out 2 balls later]
Ronchi out next ball
PS end up with 8/162[20]
PS were about 0/69 of their first 6 overs

Mick Neser should be swabbed
Hes been bowling at just over 130kms most games
Tonight he bowled in the mid to high 140s !

I think the turning point was Katich, Marsh Gibbs and North looked to attack while he went out there and stunk it up and got out. Killed all momentum.

PS 8/162 [20]
GIBBS 38 [22] stunning
NORTH 40 [29] opener or 12th man for him
MARSH 33 [21] good
The rest did little, as squid posted Katich cost his team momentum 9[13]
HAURITZ 1/16[3] good
NESER 2/23[3] impressive

Perth were 0/69 after 6 overs
To only make 162 was a poor finish

BH 6/152 [20]
HAYDEN 33 [26] nice
FORREST 59[42] Im stunned
BEER 0/19[3] frugile again

BS should have won this
1/55 + 2/114 meant they should never have run out of balls, but they did
Mike Neser hit a zac last ball as well

MY VOTES
3 FORREST
2 GIBBS
1 M MARSH

Terrible last 10 overs by Renegades.
Went from 0/81 to 8/140
If Gayle gets going it will be an early night

Talk anout one man team, Gayle made 75 and the other useless pricks couldnt get the job done.

Good comeback by Tait after his crap first over
