Hilfy and Patto are well on top. Keep em going. Don't give em a sniff.

And if they dont get the wickets you bring Lyon on when the batters are set, got to remember the two at the wicket at the moment have test 100's to their names

As good as that partnership was I still think the last wicket partnership today was the most crucial. You could see Dhoni and the other players heads drop. That partnership mentally killed them, they would of been confident chasing 240 but 292 shattered them

Yesterday's partnership of 115 has cost the Indians 6 wickets already. It really was a great partnership

Lol, without that partnership, even at 6 for 80 odd, India would be in the box seat.

I was agreeing with you. :?

Whoops, sorry. Just not used to that

Unlikely a last wicket partnership would have made much difference without the contribution from Hussey and Ponting before it though. You are spot on about that partnership deflating the Indians though.

The Hussey/Ponting partnership set it up for us definately.
The Indian's were still fairly chirpy at start of day today but thanks to some crap Dhoni captaincy the mood had evaporated by time Hilf was out.

They will have a 20 minute break for Tea
Patto, Hilf, Sids will freshen up
Then come in for the intended kill
Considering AU has selected a 3 man bowling attack, they have done exceptionally well
These flat track Bullys have been exposed this match
Its taken a long time to get them on a decent deck
They have looked comfortable when spin has been the menu [as per usual]

Its good to nail these guys and perhaps be 1-0 up b4 stumps
If we play this attack on flatter decks then our bowling might be exposed later in the series

The SCG has been juiced up in the last few years and the WACA is always juicy but I really fear for King William Road.
Hopefully we are 3-0 up by time we get there

I think we should play a 4 man pace attack if Harris is fit.
Back to the creek it is.
