Yes, he won bowling too! But we did have 4 bowlers take 20+ wickets for the season.

I'm sorry we won the flag.

Bt the way, in the GF, lets pretend Sibbs didnt bat..... We still win ;)

Geez mate, didn't mean to upset you so much!!
FWIW your "4 bats over 200" is the WORST out of the sides that played finals last year, even 'Team Carmen' had more

Parafield Gardens had more players hit over 200, OTH & Virginia both with 4 as well.
Smithfield had 2 players, and 2 players on 198.

Moral of the story is 200 runs in a season which is 14 games long is really no difficult task, geez even I hit over 200 runs last season in grade 4 batting 10.. and I dont even know what end of the bat to hold! :D

I definately wasnt complacent, im too experienced for that sh!t. Maybe some of our bowlers and fieldsmen were'nt quiute as switched on as they should have been and perhaps it was due to your batsmen boring them to tears in the first 20 overs. (-| It was quite evident very early that you guys were waiting for the rain just so you didnt rack up another loss. Sure we were hot favourite with LM the bookie and everyone else but Its a 50/50 game every time two teams walk on the field. Why not back yourselves, have a crack and go for the win?

We set the game up. One of the biggest problems we have had this season has been out batting. And batsmen not applying themselves n batting partnerships. If u look 145/5 is actually one of our better battin efforts this season, and against the top team I think we were quite happy with the score n gave ourselves our best possible chance of winning. Your saying we batted slow for the first 20 we didnt wanna rack up another loss, isnt that the point of cricket? To not lose? but really we werent scared of losing, we havent won a game for a season n half now so what would one more loss against the top team hurt? We strive to win every game. Just at the moment we have struggled a bit. Remember this is our B grade playing in what is predominately an A grade division. Put your B grade in div 2 n see how they approach things. I think we batted somewhere close to our best with the players we had available. Cant ask for more can ya?

Havnt won a game in a season and a half?? Geez i knew you were bad but i didnt think you were that bad. ;))

Yep pretty sure we havent. But we did get a draw against the top team last week coz they rocked up n didnt give a sh!t, even there captain said so ;)

Haha, yeah right didnt give a sh!t....the elements saved you from a probable bonus point loss so not bad for not giving a sh!t. ;)

I reckon Groover would've been all over that 10 run differential too !! ;)

4 over 200....wowee !!

Hahaha.......that does make sense...when sibb was on 40 he was hit on the pads and I heard a girl and a lady appeal from the boundary line...turns out it was groover and his mum..

OK, I'll sort through the bets soon, basically there will be no pay-outs for any incomplete matches, the H2H's will apply as per usual rules.

Just looking through and the margins weren't great, I'll just void the whole round, I'm the big loser out of it as I miss out on the 9.65 I made.
Everyone will go back to their Balance's before round 7.

Two - do not complain about the drive. We have done it to ATCO numerous times with both seniors and u/21s. We could have been real pricks and had it at ICC's oval in Hackham, but chose not to. morphettville park would be one of the closest clubs except for north haven to your zone. We have continuously hosted games at north haven so hosting it at morphettville park was about being fair to our clubs and giving other clubs the chance to host such games. Complain about the travel time any more? Bloody grow up, it's inter-association cricket, your going to have to travel in it.
Thirdly- talking about lack of numbers- that's your associations fault. Once again, a joke of an association. Not our fault you can't provide training sessions or get a squad organized just like we did.
Fourthly, the Brighton/morphettville issue - samca wanted it on turf. Then on Friday it was not definitely going to go ahead on turf so they decided to change it then. Smart thinking by samca if u ask me.
Lastly, the drunk supporters of our comp. haha playing at ATCO a couple years ago they were a lot worse then the morphy parks crowd. Give and take!

If you're going to come on here swinging you'd best be doing some research, the driving force behind the PDCA has been hospitalized for the past two months and others have been trying to fill the void with all of the rest of the running of an association on top of their employment.
With the whinging and bitching that I read on the ASCA thread things don't seem too rosey down south.
Most of our under 21 side was 16 to 18 year olds, had to car pool or were on their P's, what, you expect them to go in for another warm cordial after backing up with two days of cricket?

Didnt realize your comp was soley ran by one bloke. We have been car pooling for years to your grounds. You have to do it and you can't do it? Terrible effort
