Hope Hazlewood gets back to full fitness, absolute talent.

Yeah, I missed Hazelwood and Copeland, George would have to be up there too.

I haven't seen Behrendorf, I thought he was a beer.

WHY ?
Becoz there have been 2 many 3-4 days Tests of late
The ACB is missing out on the revenue dollars
It makes sense that we will be in for a summer of flatter decks against the Indians [AGAIN]
There4 we need 5 bowlers
The last thing I wanna see is our front line bowling attack bowling 2 many overs this summer
So the 5th bowler is needed
Watto is injured
So Danny Christian, Mitch Marsh, and to a lesser extent Steve Smith + Moses HenREBiques must be used in between Watto breakdowns


Ed Cowan
Is simply not good enough to become a good Test batsman
But, of he plays, gets his chance against the mediocre Indian attack on Aussie soil
Had Ed played the last 2 series v SA + NZ he would have really struggled

Got all area's covered there mate, an unlosable prediction

I can see why he'd come under consideration though, you know what you're getting and he would bowl well in tandem with either Pattinson, Lyon or Siddle.

Is Peter George in the mix still, I see he played in the recent tour match.

I did add him in on my next post. Things don't appear that bad with that list, 2 years ago we were screaming for fast bowlers, hence England making nearly a thousand per innings.

And now we are going back to Hilfy FFS, stuff it we cant find a decent opening batsmen Matty Hayden is hitting them alright get him in as well why your at it.

Really dissapointed with the Hilfy decision, average test cricketer at best who isnt really going to improve and even if he does he probably only 1-2 years of test cricket left and then we are back to square one.

Anyone willing to take a bet on if Hilfy plays in the Adelaide test he will not take any more than 2 wickets for the whole match and at least gets hit for 150 runs throughout the two innings?

Batsmen have more longevity than bowlers, Christian is a band-aid fix for now IMO whilst we have no Watto and Mitch Marsh is still developing.

The GABBA and Hobart would have almost felt like home decks for the Kiwis, very similar to what they are used to at home. We should of played India at Hobart. Either that or juice up our decks, every curator in Australia should be asking the Bellerive curator to come and help prepare the pitches. Give us 4 greentops thanks guys
