Reckon that will halve the crowd size.
Know a lot of folk who wont go if they cant have a frothie.

Why wouldent you simply take the Falcon into the ground and bring in a stashed slab of Coopers like everyone else does Jim?

SOUTH FANS!!! Question: Which away team has the highest attendance at Noarlunga oval?
Maybe we could have them in order if possible.

Been going there for years and parked around the ground and have never once taken booze in. I figure the bar takings are the lifeblood of most clubs so i look on it as a donation towards the clubs I visit, wouldnt want to rip clubs off. Didnt know that wasnt the norm. I wouldnt do it to my club

According to Wikipedia 10,123 attended that first game. Irrespective of whether they were all free tickets or whatever, that is a fantastic crowd. The question has to be asked why didn't they come back. I would have thought that South would have struggled to average 1/5th of that number in games since then. Night footy doesn't seem to have really attracted the locals down there, perhaps Good Friday might.

Off the top of my head

Glenelg the Port are the best travelling crowds to Noarlunga

Central and North the worst

I would have thought North would attract a few more than West & Eagles ?

Not surprised with Centrals due to the distance for a lot of their fans to travel.

We seem to get quite a few supporters down there (more than any other away game anyway) because its the only place we win at more often than not.

Great work Mr Stats Man, I mean PhilH.

I'm not surprised to see Central have the lowest attendance average of the other 8 clubs. The distance thing that HOORAY PUNT mentioned would be the main reason for sure, but some Dogs fans would also be complacent with their pretty good winning record down there, I guess as a few teams would have (sorry Panther fans !!!)

Most North supporters have a lot further to travel than West or the Eagles.

The fact that Norwood draw less than the Eagles would also be the fact that a lot of the Norwood supporters have to travel much further,

Having said all of that, there generally seems to be more North suporters than South at the games at Noarlunga.
