There is a need, but agree the standard is overall poor. I have said before an Under 18 comp (1 or 2 overage players allowed to captain etc) should be looked at to replace the D grade. This gives the talented/slower developing youngersters time to develop without being lost in community cricket.

I agree with this. D grade is pointless really but still need that forth team in the Comp. The 2 Overage players though you would want an Ex A or B grade cricket that has that experience to pass on to these kids.

Puts Port Adelaide in a tight spot then doesn't it..........
West Torrens had to move from Thebarton Oval to Henley to survive as they would have probably went the way of the Football Club if they didn't.
