What has the silly goose done NOW?? Dissapointing as I think he is one of the better umpires when he doesn't try to over officiate things which by the sounds of things has been the case quite alot this year....

Thing is, our comps not in the position to turn away experienced umpires like Andrew. I think he just needs some good quality coaching about not over afficiating games.

Sorry have to disagree CK. The comp needs to lose really poor umpires or lose credibility instead. The best umpires, referees, officials etc in any sport are those that at the end of the game you didnt realise they were there....when you have one at the other end of the spectrum & feels the game is about them & they are more important than every player out there, it's a recipe for disaster. I'd rather have an umpire that makes the odd poor decision for both sides than one that spoils the enjoyment & spirit of the game...IMO anyway

Games have there moments but the standard of behaviour has been a lot better and the standard of cricket overall has been higher in terms of a lot less cowboys and if you bowl decent line and length it gets respected.
Getting to play 2 Day Cricket has been really good and a lot more players have been getting a go so everyone is enjoying it.
Looking forward to the 2nd half of the season and hope we can hang on to 4th spot and play some finals cricket.
