Yeah, he was 'aligned' to the Eagles after being selected by them in the then mini-draft.

Apparently Tim Milera is back training with the Magpies. Let's hope his attitude improves from last season.

The Norwood Football Club is pleased to announce today the signings of Nathan Batsanis, Jaryd Cachia & Michael Newton.

Nathan a hardworking & quick midfielder is a former Port Power rookie who recently played in Port Melbourne’s 2011 Premiership team. Nathan works extremely hard around the ground, is an excellent kick & is damaging near goals.

Jaryd was recently delisted by Carlton, where he was rookie listed. He is a tough inside midfielder who loves a contest, is an excellent tackler, has plenty of courage and uses the ball really well by hand or foot.

Michael is a Key Forward from the Melbourne FC who can pinch hit in Ruck if required. Michael has good mobility, is a good kick & a very strong overhead mark who will add plenty of strength to our team.

These three boys join Ben Warren as having signed with our club for the next two years.

The West Adelaide Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Joel Tippett.
Joel is a 23 year old, 197cm, 91kg, key defender who possesses great agility and athleticism. He has spent the past three years with the Gold Coast Suns, after spending two years at the Brisbane Lions.
The signing continues the Tippett connection at the West Adelaide Football Club following the selection of his older brother Kurt in the 2006 Mini Draft.
Scott Turner, GM – Football Operations said "We are pleased to have Joel on board. We have been monitoring his football now for 5 years and his all round game has come along really well. He is another experienced and quality person into the team and with his connection to the club and having played with Chris Schmidt at Brisbane he was a good fit for us."

Savage is out at training. He would need to improve a fair bit to get a league game in my opinion. I don't think Aussie is any chance. Not sure about Roland.

Both are NT boys anyway, aren't they? They only had a year each at Norwood before being drafted, yeah?

I know Aussie played his first game (since being delisted by Melbourne) for the Tiwi Bombers in the NTFL last weekend and by all reports, is a little out of shape.

Maybe Roland will join the NT Thunder in the NEAFL competiton?

Brent Macleod an out for South. Although inconsistent at times and prone to the occasional dumb error, would have loved to see him stick around for a few years. Good around goals and will be missed.
