i play for the Southern Oilers. there is only 5 teams in our comp, so any one out there interested in playing, let me know.the clubs are:-

Southern Oilers - train at Hackham Footy oval
Eastern Razorbacks - train in Walkerville
Eagles - not too sure where they train or anything like that,i think thy're based in the western suburbs,i will find out more and let you know
South City Cheifs - train at marion footy oval
Port Adelaide Spartans - based, obviously somewhere in Pt Adelaide.

Its currently off-season, next season starts in october or november. its played in our summer so it dosnt clash with the great game of AFL,and it also coincides with the NFL.

Games are played at 5 and 8 pm at Pines Hockey club, Gepps Cross. Great venue, with massive grandstand and full bar facilities.

I think Phil H was involved at one point. With him now at South Adelaide, I would say he would not be involved.

Phil H still does a bit of commentary when time permits. He called the gf a few weeks back. The Eagles are based at Modbury and the Spartans are based at Flinders Park footy club. The junior contact season is just around the corner and is for kids aged between 14 and 18.

love watching the game, have played as well for the razorback, then i jumped to the spartans, took last year off cause of work and family commitments, hopefuly returning this season. Anyone that wants to play read the post above and pick a side the more players the better. go you SPARTANS.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

My Brother in law used to play for the Spartans. Going back a few years now. He ended up doing his knee representing Australia in Italy.
