B.Harris
B.Luke
R.Donaldson ( All-rounder )
T.Roberts ( All-rounder )
R.Hopkins ( All-rounder )
B.McCormack ( WK )
T.May ( All-rounder )
S.Byrne ( Fast )

Not knowing any of the other clubs playing history as I do, this is a big call, but I would back this side against any team any club could muster up in Premier hard-wicket cricket.

Unlucky :

D.Smith
F.DelBorello
P.Delyannis
D.Lloyd

Lucky :

McCormack ;)

Bit harsh on smithy if you seen him play considering he was the captain of our 50th year side. Very lucky for McCormack ;)

My side that ive seen play:

S. Knowles (vice captain)
R. Press (best opener the club has seen)
D. Woolford (could bat. opener but wouldnt open with press n knowles)
R. Hopkins (captain)
R. King (in his 15th side of the decade for his 15th club - wouldnt bowl in this side)
C. Roberts (save the day incase the top 5 some how failed)
T. Roberts (most destroying batter the comp has seen IMO)
B. McCormack (keeper/2nd most destroying batter our club has seen i would think in the lower order)
M. Whenan (spinner)
C. Wright (over shannon because he can bat and also i think he is the best new ball bowler in the comp at present)
M. McKay (in his prime he was scary quick)

12th: M. King (all rounder so can come in for anyone)

Mine is Morphettville Pk

Aaron Barry
Michael Thomas
Kev Brokensha
Dion Hibberd
Shane Pitt
David Lee
Brian Johns
Rob Mccard
Chris Spehr
Daniel Florence
Geoff Hardy
Peter Roach 12th man

Solid AB - But surely S.Thomas slots straight in for D. Lee, I have no doubt sleazy could bat, his turf records speak for themselves. But unfortunately did not flourish in his MPCC days. And D. Miller straight swap for Florance. Pitt, Miller were fearsome opening pair when at there best!
and could account for 75% of the overs being bowled.

I can sadly go back a bit further than 2001...

A Amos in for L Scanlen - easy one that. 4000+runs and 150 wickets
B Maetze in for T Maetze - even easier (sorry Todd) 610 wickets and 10,000 runs
C Jarvis for D Williams - one of the best quicks in the comp for a decade before chalk hip syndrome got him.
Rob Farmer for Andy Murphy - 500 wickets and 2000 runs can't be wrong.

S. Krutli - would captain this team - though unproven at this level - I just rate his leadership
A. Amos - club's leading century maker and won the A grade bowling at least twice
H. Hartlett (if he wasn't kicking pigskin he would be a starter in any 11)
C. Farrant (Pending clearance from Kenilworth's team of the century)
B. Maetze (Legend)
E. Rossi WK - as good as baz kearsley imho
A. Rossi (picked as an opening bowler/allrounder) - took up keeping/batting after a car accident wrecked his elbow
A. May - tell him what you want and it gets done.
R. Farmer - see above
C. Jarvis - see above
P. Petersen - every team needs a cranky quick

And any MPCC team without Danny and Shane opening the bowling would be crazy - those guys were truly frightening at their peak and you were guaranteed a great contest - and no hard feelings for not letting me into your fast bowlers club and bouncing the crap out of me everytime we played - just not nice.

For me:

Coromandel- will bounce back after underperforming last week
WYC- think we have the batters on deck to hit the runs
South road- 226 is in reach but I think morphies might just fall short
Keswick- surely something good happens with the batting line up and of it does then 168 not enough
Ramblers-think they will just get home
Glenelg-199 to be enough I think

I think every team will get three points this week.
