There's no way our C grade will play C1's, is that a joke?? They won't/can't play any higher than C2/C3 IMO. The Club is also looking at having a D grade next season, which could possibly be put into C4. I can't see clubs such as Rosewater having a C grade.

For us it would be of more benefit if our C grade was in C4 so we could capitalise on having triple headers against other teams that have higher teams in Div 6 like Trinity, Ingle Farm, Blackfriars & Lockleys.

why is the Div 8 and C4 grades have 11 teams in it? Looking at the proposed grading i know that kenilworth wont have the chance to play any triple headers as there is no similar teams in Div 5.

I suppose they're anticipating current nominations falling through which as Yank Man said before it happens quite a lot. Just out of interest, why can't you still have triple headers? :? :?

Because your number of teams is based on fiction, and unless you are in the know and have seen what clubs have actually nominated 4 teams, then again I go back to history, which tells me you are down to 9 on a good day by season start. Please understand New Era that I think the concept of Div8 and Div8r is wicked, but I would hate to see it fall in a heap come March 24th.

Fiction, history or fortune telling, who's going to know until final nominations are in. I understand why there's so much concern at something new but there's a lot of jumping at shadows at the minute. My boy's club's c grade is in a grade they could argue shouldn't be but at least with relegation and promotion in the C grade comp surely it'll sort itself out over a short period of time. Maybe the better way to do it was to leave it as it is and simply start with promotion and relegation from this years gradings.

Nominations closed 31st Oct so they would just be working with what was nominated. Other than errors.

They wont know until final nominations.
It can all change very quickly in January / February - Uni could have 7 or 12 teams for a start
It's gone down to D9R before - 1996
I agree triple headers are good, but not if you watch your C team get flogged by 200 points
You can still do triple headers but it will just take a bit more organisation and means it may not be the same 2 teams playing in all 3 games.

Sorry, I meant who will drop out by cut off time. I was referring to Yank Man's well founded opinion that teams will drop out even though they have intentions of having an extra side

What about watching your C team win by 200 points? That's pretty good. Shuffling the C grade comps around is NOT going to stop teams getting flogged by 200 points. Making programming easy and having all your helpers in one spot for clubs is more important IMO

If a C grade team is having a bad year and losing all the time, getting support from the rest of the club would be better than being alone with 2 other clubs watching on with no support whatsoever, wouldn't it?

after looking through the proposed divisions, i personally would like to keep the c grade div the way it is... if we go to c4 with current set up we can still have triple headers or if we stay in c5 im pretty sure with some extra organisation we could still have triple headers... i reckon you dont get much from a 200 point win or loss, it doesnt create a good comp. just look at the southern league!!!

This year there were triple headers with clubs who didn't play each other in the A Grade

Examples are Kenilworth and Trinity played against Brahma Lodge and a few other sides in C5

The new grading will see all your home games as triple headers, which in all honesty is the most important (providing both clubs agree to triple headers as not everyone wants them eg North Haven)

On away games the C Grade play early and still have enough time to get and watch B and A Grade wherever they are playing

Good thing is: the clubs will decide which system they want, so, at least, HV get a say
