Shenton no loss? 2 key forwards gone from last years side so far only replaced by an old bloke who didnt even play SANFL last year!

I think fester69 is being sarcastic.

Not at all. Shenton no loss. Ask C D F C about the 2010 GF.

Great news for the SAFC.

We seem to be getting a real good mix of players. Another tall would be nice. ;)

Ky is an indigenous lad, about 6'3 but only slightly built. Played everywhere for my team over here this year but if he was to make it at League level I would expect wing or half forward. Lovely left foot kick and can read the play, moves like he's 5'3 and has the tricks the indigenous lads possess. Just needs to get through the hard stuff and he could be anything.
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

He got injured early, what more did you expect from him?

He played some very good football for Norwood in 2010.

Good to have John Mac back at the club.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

When your opposition has players on the ground with broken bones I expect a player with a "sore" calf to be on the field also. Ask Paul Thomas what he thinks.

Fair enough Fester, we are all entitled to our own opinions. Knowing the Shenton family, having played footy with them myself at Golden Grove, I am happy for Shents that he gets the chance and I wish him luck.

West Coast were interested in him but went for Brad Dick instead.

He'll be good enough to make Central's starting 21 in season 2012 Dutchy.

No Ed Lower either so no doubt Norwood will be in touch with him about returning to the Redlegs.

I think there was some links with former Sydney player Paul Bevan talking to Norwood, North and Port Magpies.

www.sportsnewsfirst.com.au wrote:Another former Magpies All-Australian Paul Medhurst and Sydney 2005 premiership forward Paul Bevan were also overlooked.

Bevan, 27, is tipped to continue his playing days in Western Australia with Perth in the WAFL competition.

I think Perth have offered him a very good job over there. I still think Port are a chance though. He is good mates with Jimmy Miklejohn.

I rate Shenton - Think he has a lot of talent and a hughe upside. I'd be happy for him to come back to Westies if he doesnt make it AFL if Norwood supporters dont consider him a loss

Out Spurr and Havelberg, Obst (returning sometime hopefully in the future). Things are looking a bit bleak for us at the minute. Can we please announce at least one recruit? In two years we haven't recruited a player (excluding returning players). :(

Havelberg not a sure thing to depart at this point in time, the potential new job is now 12 months away from what I hear.
