As you would know the AFL clubs always have a say. It's a not a case of here a list of players, now pick one. The AFL clubs for instance wouldn't want two of their ruckman at the one club if they can avoid it. They also might try to group players together.

As you would know the AFL clubs always have a say. It's a not a case of here a list of players, now pick one. The AFL clubs for instance wouldn't want two of their ruckman at the one club if they can avoid it. They also might try to group players together.

So why do players drafted by the AFL clubs change SANFL clubs on a regular basis? If they went to the AFL clubs preferred destination then this would not occur.
I find it hard to believe the AFL clubs could/would have any say in it.
