Fingers crossed MG.

Chatting with Keefy (as he is the Vines member) who will be playing last as he knows the course the best. We will tee off first and hopefuly put a ball in play and then dependant on the hole he will either club up and go for more.

You really want one of your 1st 2 to put the ball in play so the other 2 can relax and maybe try a bit more. Hopefully all 4 of us have our game going and can get it happening.

I have already had a look MT and prepared myself something :) I will forward it to you during the week.

It depends on the rules. Most Comps have rules that must use several drives from each member of the group. Usually 3 from each player, if the highest handicapper in the group hits a good drive early on then use it. The low handicappers will generally get you out of trouble on the 2nd shot no matter the distance. If playing with a single figure guy then save his for the par 3's giving you a good chance of a birdie putt for someone.

We finished 6th. It was one of those days where chips and putts were burning the edge and not dropping.

Course is in magnificent condition and I am very glad I have the 4 vouchers to use over the next couple of months.

-1 just doesn't cut it in an ambrose.
I take it you had a few bogies in there?
Playing in an ambrose this Saturday.
We need to shoot at least 8-9 under off the stick to be in contention.
Our handicap is a bit too skinny.
The lowest handicap I can see is 3/4.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Played 9 holes of twilight in Balaklava last night. Broke 40 off the stick for the first time shooting a 39 for 27 points. My playing partner also shot a 39 but had 28 points. Makes me wanna go back more often than once every couple of weeks, but I know next time probably won't be as good.
