We will not take injured or semi-injured players away. That is our policy. ;)

doh.......cmon GH be a sport I gotta play.
I cant play when fully fit  actually dont think I have ever played fit.
gotta make an exception for me mate :?
gotta laugh at all this talk about the rep side , I may have started it but all was quite funny,
was taking the piss , I really dont care who plays (div1 or div 5) players as long as we play to our best ability and gel as a side.

Noel Craig wrote:You make reference to players who have done something. Norton? Best figures this season of 2/12. He took 25 wickets last season but in selecting a squad as of now, I'm sure they will be looking at 'current' form. His current form being average has me questioning how the heck you are questioning people not considering him.

Noel Craig wrote:M. PiperBats at 4 with a high score of 33 with an average of 17. Glad you're not selector ;)

Noel Craig wrote:D. ChalmersAnd again. Usually bats at 3. Has a top score this season of 78 but has only made double figures twice. Doesn't bowl.

Mate, you need to stop staring at 'mycricket' stats, they can be quite misleading. Also it was a team I selected OUTSIDE of div 1 if you paid any attention
No your right not every good side needs a spinner, but you under estimate the value of a quality spinner, can tie down sides, push through overs quickly and pick up valuable wickets along the way.

M. Piper was a selection based on his experience - played at Port Adel did he not? And he would surely (although stats dont show it) be one of the better cricketers in Enfields A grade?

D. Chalmers, selection was based on balance and needed another top order batsman, has experience playing Div 1 and having played in the same side as him, he is a solid bat - once again stats dont show the application he applies in his innings.

No, no room for Phillips, no doubt his stats on mycricket are probably amazing, but dont rate him sorry.

Id go with Nitter and Smasha. Crackers was as well, not sure how fast he sends them down now though. Both him and Smasha are quick off not much of a run up. Giggsy used to be up there a few seasons ago too.

Any reason why the Under 21 side is not up here or on the C&CCA website. The ATCA side is on their website.

Pretty poor.
