Money talks... This will be interesting.

For those not bothered about reading the article, although I assume there has been discussion in the protected species enclosure, VIP Home Services have stated that they are willing to become a joint Major Sponsor of the PAFC on one condition. That the club signs both Leon Davis, and Brendan Fevola.

If Port have any business acumen they will tell them to piss off we dont want your business, how could you entertain a sponsor that wants to pick the team?

Considering they took on the myatm crowd when everyone was saying they were crooks says a lot about the previous administration that were prepared to grab whatever cash they could not matter what the cost to their brand was.

I dont think it is a simple as "recruit them or I wont sponsor you". His comments, I interpreted them as saying, "recruit them and you will be much more attractive to potential sponsors".

Thats it, bums on seats and more $$.

Fev and Leon would no doubt add to your on field playing group, but could be detrimental to your off field culture and it also goes against Primus 'Youth' Policy which saw the cornes boys etc etc on the side lines.

Leon is a chance but that has been in the pipeline well before VIP have said this.

Triple M News at midday reporting a blue between Jackson Trengove and Jay Schulz at training this morning. Apparently required nine players to separate them.
