Vistas went down to NEK. They batted first, 3 for 80 or 90 odd at drinks and then Millsy opened up... he ended up belting us round for 67 and given out lbw after smashing it onto his pad. Smasha hit a few sixes and we also got a front foot defense out of him?!!? Vinsey bowled well without success and the wickets were shared round.
We ended up 8/185 with only 10 players, Tarcs smashed a quick 45, McLeod and hoddo in the 30's.

Where is he batting? Although he showed fantastic bowling stats at Enfield lastyear, he has almost always been seen as an up and coming batsmen.

He's batting middle order. At 5 the last few games from memory... good head on his shoulders, thinks about the situation he's batting in. Had a bad day with the ball today, but a lot of harsh wides called early on that the umpire wasn't calling later in neks innings or ours. Other than that he's bowling well with the new ball too.

Aaron Roling took a wicket with his first ball, Pidge bowled a great spell, always troubling the batsman. Triainos found some form with the bat, and was supported by two team-mates, one of whom was dropped first ball!
Personally speaking, it was a pleasure to bat with Gigg's, and we were able to put up some resistance and score some runs.
Bo and Gilbert bowled well for Seaton

GH, His not there yet. Not there yet as in he's no shoe in for a strong div 1 side. He started there(PV) through injury remember and that is straight from the horses mouth. He has played well whilst being there but I think those who thought he wouldn't cope may well have gotten there insight from the U21 rep games he played lastyear where he got absolutely hammered against decent batters and the games in div 3 where he was also found out. I have nothing but encouragement for the young bloke but for you to come on here and no doubt try smear Enfields cricketers and there insight in to who's decent and who's not or whatever is out and out pathetic. It's like kicking a bloke while his down.

You're posting like he's a superstar and Enfield and the rest of the comp were blind to see this. He's no superstar. Myself and alot of others in he association and club will tell you that aswell. Good luck to him though. His young and adventurous. Most clubs in our association won't ever see a young bloke that has the confidence he has.

And before you reply questioning my response, how about you answer this. Would he have made any of Vista's premiership sides from the past few seasons? No he wouldn't have. I don't think he would have made Vista's B Grade premiership side lastyear.

I like J-mac, his a good kid from a good family but despite the talk he gives, deep down he knows where he's at. Regardless of that though, he gives his all and that's all any decent sports side will ask for. Good luck to him.

Whether he is "there yet" or not, he appears to be ticking all the right boxes at the moment and putting the results on the board

from what I see, he has picked players from DIV 1, not div 1 players hiding in div 2
as a assoc side should be picked ....from div 1 first. then if you need a couple of players then you pick from div 2 ....imo...

well if this is the young fella that batted on saturday against us (I dont take note of new players till they tick me off ) he can hold his head up and I beleive he will do well in div 1 . good to see young guys actually come through to div 1 and actually have a brain , looked like he enjoyed himself with bat and ball, and also knocked my middle and leg stump out of the ground.....after a few boundaries .......then I returned the favour and took his off stump outta the ground...good kid , had a laugh , looks like he def belongs in div 1 and good luck too him.
