NZ have been really unlucky in this last session, Ponting and Clarke really have to cash in now.

When are these IDIOT bowlers going to learn to have some part of their foot behind the line???
Absolutley staggers me that at 1st class level we still have goofhead bowlers that still flirt with danger by cosistently pushing the limits.

Blunders such as this one has the potential to change the result of the Test.

Got no problem with the umpire reviewing the No Ball BUT the problem i have is that the umpire only reviews it IF a wicket is taken off that ball. What IF Clarke just allowed the ball to go through to the keeper ? I'm sure the umpire would simply have done nothing. WHY ? A mistake has been made and cost the batting team 1 run. Why only review the close ones if a wicket falls and not all close ones? There have been Test matches decided by 1 run.

The simple answer is for the 3rd umpire to look at every ball for it's legality. It would only take a few seconds and have no impact in holding the game up.

No balls seem to be less prevalent than they were 10 , 20, 30 years ago, so it seems bowlers have got the message.
Penalties such as 2 runs per No Ball as was a law years ago and the Free hit in 1 dayers and T20 has had it's desired effect in reducing the problems it seems.

What I don't understand is why fast bowlers are allowed to bowl the ball half a metre over the line when training in the nets. Surely you'd want to train as close to how you play as you can

I don't see the problem. It was a sheep scragger who bowled it.

They were pretty bloody lucky in the first session though. Hit about a zillion balls into the air with bullshit shots that fell between two or sometimes three fielders. Starc had a day he'd like to forget I reckon.

Ok after the second day, its the old heads that are steadying us at the moment, and of course Khawja who was looking good and then got bloody run out on 38. He was really starting to look settled, oh well. Warner well, one just nipped back at him, bad luck in the end but seriously just trying to survive has never been his game. I know it was like 5 minutes before lunch but thats not his game, got him self into a mess and then out. Hughes got corker from Martin.

Bowling wise the young guys went well, started a bit loose on day 1 but seemed to do the job in the end. Lyon 4 for was good, he keeps doing to the job of the spinner and taking a few wickets.

Interesting day ahead, we really need a big score from Ponting and or Clarke. Time for these boys to step up.

It seems logical to turn the lights on
The reason they dont is prob becoz the red ball is difficult to see under lights ?
Hence why the white ball is used for night cricket

Mr T was used in commercials a few years ago
He was used in a chocolate bar commercial
Perhaps now the company could use Phillip Hughes in commercials
That chocolate bar is Snickers
