Agreed LM- this practice peeves me no end. particularly when it is driven to mid off for no run, fielded and whipped back to the keeper. What's the fricken point?

Never understood that especially when there is no chance of a run, you go from zero chance of overthrows to at very least 1% chance of overthrows for NOTHING.

Gives me the 5hites when blokes in our side try doing it in PDCA.

As much as I hated it at the time, it was good to see why you shouldn't do it when Peter George tried it.
