Ask cricket NSW and they'll tell you good cricketers come knocking.

That excuse just doesnt cut it with me.
Tasmania has 1/3 of SA's population and has won 2 shields in the last 5 years and has contributed more to the Australian side over the last few seasons.
What are they doing so well?
Maybe we need to have a look at their system

Now I can't let that go through to the keeper...
Lehmann, George, Dan Cullen, Dan Christian, Ferguson, Manou have all played international cricket since 2000.
Aside from Ponting, you have Paine, Krejza and Hilf.

Numbers don't lie.

They may have produced the best single cricketer (Ponting), but we have had more players around the mark, even if we don't have success to show... You have named two of the worst FC sides in Aus BTW

SS POINTS [all teams played 5 games]

30 QL
14 WA
TA 14
VI 10
NS 8
SA 2

Looks a QL final
They will need a home final
Not a bad effort for the 4th best team in the comp
NS/VI/TA are better teams in my opinion when a few more players are available

VI 498
QL 295 [were 8/194]
Hartley 62 [127]
Boyce 57 [58]
A 9th wicket partnership of 88 got QL to a more respectable score
White 5/59 [26] what the....
VI 3/196 DEC
Finch 82 [92]
Hussey 76* [78] averaging 206 for the match

What can I say
This QL team has performed amazingly this season, but are not the best team
Cameron White 5/58 shows that the bananaboys are not a bit iffy
QL will need the injured Harris and Cutting fit and firing to be a more feared opposition
QL will also need a home final

QL need 400 to win
They chased the 260 gift in Adelaide last week
They wont make this target

Joe Burns scores a century.
His second in 9 matches, averaging mid forties...

Could be a player of the future... Only 22.
