I heard from a belair player that the ramblers weren't to keen to hang around for the ground to be fit for play and the umpire was keen for a beer so they were in the pub by 1:15.

The person i spoke to said the ground was fit for play at approx 2pm.

We had your mate, the older one of the 2 who did the T20 game, let me tell, he's not getting any better.

You know you are struggling when a bowler bowls a ball, it bounces a good feet of the pitch on the grass and you don't call it a wide.

Who was older out of those two??

Was this at Belair? If so, been there, done that. ;)

I was referring to a game I played ( captained ) at Belair where we played in conditions less then favourable for cricket.

wycbloods wrote:WYC - Coro not to make more than 200 and we will chase that down/make more than that.
Belair - Seem to be travelling along pretty well
Sheidow Pk- Just seem to be hitting their straps as a team
Keswick - That batting line up has gotta click at some stage
Morphy's-Think they have a well balanced side and will play finals so they need to start winning
ICC- Not enough depth at the bays at the moment.

WYC v Coro. My tip of WYC is looking pretty good at the moment. It is a big chase for the Coro boys and hopefully we bowl well enough and restrict them to less than 250.

Belair V Ramblers. My tip of Belair hasn't changed despite it being a one dayer this week.

Sheidow Pk V South Road. My tip of Shiedow Pk is looking a little shaky. I don't think that South Road will concede 230 odd at edwardstown too often.

Keswick V Plympton. Well the batting line-up didn't really 'click' but the bowlers have got them in a good position. Habib and Pritchard are the only hopes for Plympton to get up in what would be a very good victory from where they are in the game.

Morphy's V Cove. Morphy's have put a good score on the board and i think Cove will give it a good shake. This would be a good one to watch. Still backing my tip of Morphy's.

ICC V Bays. I think the sharks are looking the goods for a win here. Would've been interesting if the bays had skittled them for 100 after having them 8/80. Basso the key for the bays. He is due for a big score.

Prolly woulda done better with a 4 piece. Just sayin.

Pretty poor form that just more than half the Plympton boys could be bothered to shake hands.

Surprising as i thought Plympton and Keswick had a reasonable relationship .......

Just looking quickly through the scores noticed Morphy's conceded 32 extras including 20 pen ? Anyone from the game explain what they were for ....

Good to hear.

When he doesn't over umpire things i think he is one of the best umpires in the comp.

Over rate ? Over umpiring ? Correct decision ? Interesting to see what the 20 runs were for.
