And with the rain around today will make it sluggish again, was slow last night while they were training on it and it was dry then.
They may have to hit over the top and take a chance, not many boundaries will be hit all along the ground if this rain keeps up for a fee more hours.
You are making it sound like they are chasing 350....Only 160-165 needed off 70 overs, would hardly think they'd need to be hitting the ball in the air. Sure it will be slow and tough, but its only 2-3 an over?

Trying to put words in my mouth F2F? Funny.... I said it was extra incentive not meaning the team wouldnt want to win. Took it way out of context mate but i expect that from you.
BTW (which means "by the way") to illiterate poms well bowled in ANOTHER losing side.

Good opening partnership of 38 and then 2nd wicket partnership of 24 but then it fell in a hole to be 9/85. Banksy fought well with the tail to make 22.
Craigmore 7/60 with a change to the order.
Another brilliant bowling display by Al Hewitt taking 5/43 off 26 overs. Craigmore fielded well after a couple of catches went down early so it could of been worse go the Parkers.
Good game played in good spirits.

Yep and tipified by the Craigmore square leg umpire in the second innings. Their batsmen ran a tight second run and turned a tad short to which the square leg called one short on his own team. Brilliant piece of sportsmanship which you dont often see in the higher grades. Cooper was the square leg and is an absolute credit to himself and the Craigmore cricket club.
It was only a small thing but earnt alot of respect from the EP lads.
Well Bowled again today by Al, i have now been on both sides of a gun Hewitt spell!

Bare in mind only chasing 70 for victory, 2 legside stumpings (not even worthy of an appeal, thats how blantantly obvious they were out) both given not out where not only were the batsmen' (Patty Campbell and Alex Leo) foot was in the air, they were also out of their crease by 2 foot plus and the players on the sideline were laughing about it?
The 2 square leg umpires were Ashley Nicholas and Caleb Howell.
11 fielders, the central umpire and several spectators could see it was clearly out.
You expect this sorta stuff in division 6 and 7 if you expect it at all.
AN ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING PERFORMANCE FROM THE VIRGINIA CRICKET CLUB!
Froffies your kidding me right? this coming from a bloke who played at one of the dodgy clubs in the past.. only good thing to come from your club is your older brother
That's funny, I have a younger brother and a younger sister?

Yeh you know me TG, always trying to get a little jab in to you where I can. Lol. N hey I dont mind being on another losing team. Of course I would like to win. But the boys are battling hard. I think we will be the first to admit we are in too high a grade playing against sides who are better than us. For most parts of a game we are remaining competitive, just little bits are letting us down. But we are enjoying our cricket and relishing the challenge in div 2. And thanks for the well done, it was a good day for me on a personal level but its a bit hollow as it wasnt enough to get us up
And I wud hardly say stitched. Its a small table im on, wouldnt fit 2 chairs on it. be a bit crowded. its for the best that there is 1 chair.

Agree, however the only unfortunate thing for me was the fact that the teams didnt catch up for a beer after the game. Not sure why it didnt eventuate in the end considering it was all over before 5:30pm.
