I'm sure it's common knowledge out there, the bloody thing just gets left open and the transaction is made without any proof. I'm not implying anything more than I just find it odd that in todays day and age this would happen.
We have very trustworthy people running our bar but if this was happening at our club I'd be raising the question, if someone got behind the bar and helped themselves to some cash there would be no record of what was taken.
Accountability is everything nowadays in small clubs, we've seen a few go arse up recently.

Having said that, I haven't been there since mid last season, things may of changed.

can i get on the betting thanks LM

Can any of the Unit boys tell us what happened Saturday? Good bowling or poor shot selection, how did Secca's bowl?

I would'nt of thought that was evenly poised for mine E/P are well in front.

If anything EP are slightly in front but its obvious you were not there to view how sluggish the outfield was.

And with the rain around today will make it sluggish again, was slow last night while they were training on it and it was dry then.
They may have to hit over the top and take a chance, not many boundaries will be hit all along the ground if this rain keeps up for a fee more hours.

You are making it sound like they are chasing 350....Only 160-165 needed off 70 overs, would hardly think they'd need to be hitting the ball in the air. Sure it will be slow and tough, but its only 2-3 an over?

Yep IF we bat 70 overs we will comfortable reach the score.

Not saying that we will win or anything like that but if we are batting in the 70th over i would be extremly confident we will be on more than 170 runs.

For me this is the best incentive of them all....after all its a team game and attracts players back to the club and also makes them want to win that little bit more. With our Blues Bucks scheme the A's get $1 each for a win!! Oh well a couple of swigs is better than nothing i suppose. :partyman: :D

I'll say they will make it, the Gardens had to take a couple of bowlers up to the A's to cover Lynch and Pargaliti.
1.90 each.

I know the outfield is "lightning quick" Lightning but i think $1.90 for the Gardens is very generous.

Get on it then, our B's knocked up 260 odd against them at our ground, they had at least two bowlers go up to the A's from that, your batting looked reasonable, your bowling stocks didn't look that strong though.
Keegan and Brett to get a half century each.

Yes we have a long and talented batting line up and we are a show but still a lot of runs to get. Was definately a bowler or two short this round and the score reflects that. I think i will save my cyber's this time round mate as i still have a couple of multis alive.

Whose talking about beer, im straight on the canadian club and dry.

A couple of free drinks definatly helps influence a few people as to whether they will spend the night at the club and drink or just have a quiet one at home.

Talking about pride and passion you should come watch the EP A Grade, pride for ourselves and our club is definatly not in question when we step on the field. Some have it inked in them for lives.

Just posing a question, are virginia bigger cheats than brahma lodge?

Bare in mind only chasing 70 for victory, 2 legside stumpings (not even worthy of an appeal, thats how blantantly obvious they were out) both given not out where not only were the batsmen' (Patty Campbell and Alex Leo) foot was in the air, they were also out of their crease by 2 foot plus and the players on the sideline were laughing about it?

The 2 square leg umpires were Ashley Nicholas and Caleb Howell.

11 fielders, the central umpire and several spectators could see it was clearly out.

You expect this sorta stuff in division 6 and 7 if you expect it at all.

AN ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING PERFORMANCE FROM THE VIRGINIA CRICKET CLUB!
