Recepie for disaster.

Take one foot of Dutch, place firmly inside warm mouth and allow to bake for 2 and 1/2 hours.

When ready, return to thread you started, change feet, allow to settle, serve and enjoy!

Right pucker tucker.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

alright as promised heres my thoughts on the game -

Port played great footy, but in patches, sometimes due to the Roos pressure but sometimes Im sure its a mental thing, maybe the result of a relatively young side, but they will not get away with these lapses against the better teams, they are a skillful and flashy side but cannot rely on this when whips are cracking late in the season.

Roos could not hit targets inside 50 and also didnt have any real targets which was dissappointing, obviously going to take a while after losing Thompson, Edwards was OK in patches but would have preferred Matty Campbell to play to give that extra pace, Thomas (thanks PAMFC) was excellent but has anyone socred 7 points in their first 7 shots in the AFL? glad he got a goal in the end, Brent Harvey was clearly BOG and got the 3 Charlie votes and dragged us back into the game.

Overall I was satisfied with the performance, getting within 6 points with 5 mins to go is a fair effort when 5 goals down and looking like a beating was about to be enforced.

Some key notes -

 The Watt/White match up was interesting to say the least to see who is worse! (both arent AFL players)
 Thurston's...how does this bloke get a game?
 Brown, for a guy that big...well Im dissapointed with his attack on the ball and inst a forward
 Sat in the outer for something different today, interesting to say the least

Anywa enjoyed the game, Port should have smashed us, but didnt and I backed the Roos +30.5 so Imade $$ out of the game also

It was on Fox, live even here in Adelaide.
Weirdly enough this year, both games here have been telecast live against the gate on Fox.

Specially if you had a big one on Saturday Night!
No games at the Dome or MCG start that early!

I like your thoughts on the game, its an interesting read, but bad luck about the loss in my opinion you should have been smashed but to your credit you stayed there. Went along to the game yesterday. had good seats and it was a good game just to add to some of your comments

 Archer.......how does this bloke get a game. Great player in his day, but the game has change and old Glen is getting slower by the minute. Im still shoked at the push in the back he gave away, pretty obvious mate, must of had another brain fade.
 Harvey kept you guys in the game.
 Thurston, well your probably being a bit harsh, only the one huge mistake, but it happens. Other than that he wasnt to bad.

Overall Port didnt play as well as they could have and the roos arnt the rabbit in the head lights people think they are, and you right dutchy, last week, its only one round. But the next time you win a game at subi, please feel free to celebrate.

Thought the kangas gave a very good account of themselfs yesterday. Im sure not many people would of thought they would of got as close as they did in the last quater. Good to see all these people get on here as wrap up the power. Where were you all early in the week when dutchy started this thread? Loved the mass cheer late in the 3rd quater when someone held up a pair of matching moccasons they had found and they showed it on the superscreen. Brought a tear to my eye! One family was going home happy. Was good to have a couple of beers with some blackfriars lads in the second half even know i thought my life was in a bit of danger!

just lost all credability with the Archer comment, you fool, you pick out one error, what about the goal saving tackle in the 2nd 1/4? 13 possies is fairly servicable day let alone hs influence with the young kids.

As for Subi we have won 2 of our last 4 there and 7 of 15 overall, pretty good i would have thought....try again, you have failed miserabley so far

Dutchy

I agree with your thoughts on Brown, I watched him against the Pies and thought he was pathetic and cost you the game

Yesterday he continued to show the lack of aggression, I don't like using the soft word but he is bordering on that definition

REB...just like a few Power Puffs on here, no mention of them before the game, but after?

SD...Im on a Roos forum and Ive defended Brown penty of times but they keep bagging him, now I know where they are coming from...yesterday he made a few good strong leads but just before the ball arrived he took a coupld of fairy steps which allowed Crones to spoil...his attack on the ball just inst good enough...had a good year in 2005 at full back, much better running at the ball and not having to turn corners IMO...worst thing is we have signed him for 2 years

on another point 5AA comparing Burgoyne to Judd and Kerr...FFS give me a break
