They are there to form a basis for, otherwise banned under the GST deal, new state taxes.
It works similarly to increasing the basic "supply charges" for utilities.

Yeah right. The Chinese couldn't care less. We have always had a strong alliance with the US and that's no secret to the rest of the world.

Plus, if China really got upset with anyone, the US wouldn't have the manpower to save them. The US have more firepower, but the Chinese have 2.5 million active military to the US 1.45 or thereabouts.

I just bought a gas-lift chair.

It was the last one in store - so 'floor stock'.
Came already 'made up' and no instruction manual etc, etc.

Anyyyyway... it has 2 x levers under the chair, one is obvioiusly to adjust the 'gas lift' up or down.

Can't for the life of me work out what the other one is?

Any ideas..lol

Second one should adjust the back rest to your desired angle.....

I thought that too - but it (the lever) just clicks backwards or forwards - seems to do nothing for the backrest (Unfortunately).

Getting used to a new chair is annoying...lol.
But my old one was completey had it
