Just got an invite to the ACHPER (Australian Council of Health, Physical Education & Recreation) Physical Education Week Dinner at Adelaide Pavilion with some colleagues, and work is covering the tix.

3 course meal, band, and four-hour FREE BEER package.

well i think i might go to the pub for a couple of beers tonight

Friday night pub visit starts with the missus or neighbors missus dropping me and my neighbor at the pub at about 5:30pm, have a few cleansing ales buy some tickets in the raffle (2 meat trays 3 chooks and 2 cartons of beer are the prizes, all profits go to local sporting groups depending on the season, cricket club summer, golf club winter). raffle drawn at around 6:30 straight after that is happy hour, enjoy a few more cleansing ales then the missus or neighbor missus pick us up about 7:45 ready for tea.

it seems to be a great meeting place to catch up with a verity of different blokes from the district to talk about the week that was, in winter the topic is usually about footy and most the blokes are normally home to watch the footy on the TV

friday night IMO is the best night to go to the pub

Got asked by my boss to be the local rep for an school award our local school won which we sponsor, OK I said, got to go to the state final cocktail function last month with free beer, that was OK but my school won the State final and get told I need to go with them to Melbourne for the National final. OK I said, so off to Melb tomorrow for tomorrow nights awards at the regent theatre, with heaps of Free Beer all night long
