It will be interesting to see if Craigmore can chase down Parafield Gardens' 338 on Saturday at Bradman Oval. Good to see "Shot Put" Danielak ton up and young Andy McConnell fell just short. The one-dayers are going to produce some big scores out there.
I'll say they will make it, the Gardens had to take a couple of bowlers up to the A's to cover Lynch and Pargaliti.
1.90 each.

I know the outfield is "lightning quick" Lightning but i think $1.90 for the Gardens is very generous.

If there A Grade can hit 359 on that oval then them odds are very reasonable. Pargaleti was defending balls for 4 against us 2 weeks ago and i class him as a Glenn McGrath type tailender. If things keep going the way they have the last few weeks, we could see the Bradman Oval notch up a huge tally of runs by seasons end.

Time will tell Doseage, remember a quick ground helps but the outfield dont make the runs for you....you have to hit them yourself! ;)

Get on it then, our B's knocked up 260 odd against them at our ground, they had at least two bowlers go up to the A's from that, your batting looked reasonable, your bowling stocks didn't look that strong though.
Keegan and Brett to get a half century each.

Seems a bit odd to me that these games are being played at Ridley when Rose and Crown aren't playing. Unless they declined I'd have thought one of the playing clubs would jump at the chance to host.

No one wanted to host them.

I can understand AV not wanting to because of the school, but there's a chance to make a bit of extra coin for united.

Because they didn't qualify?

Not going to begrudge them as a neutral host, but most disappointing CU weren't keen for it.

the decision for rosies to host was because adel independent couldnt find a suitable ground, it only came up at the samca meeting and elaine had to volunteer ridley road there and then, she didnt have time to ring around. central united cc dont host because they dont run the bar, they are separate from the central united football club and its the footy club who reap the rewards from over the bar even when the cricket club do all the volunteering on the day.
