Given that when the draw came out we had a bye this round, the captain decided to book his buck's night for this saturday, enter Eastern Park and it was going to be a tight squeeze as far as getting a days play in and the boys being ready for the bus to pick them up.
After telling Craig Cotton of the situation he was more than pleased to start the game early, not only by an hour but two hours, they will start at 11am.

Yeah im looking forward to getting down there and watching an hours before heading to Craigmore.

To be perfectley honest it suited alot of the C Grade better anyway, miss a bit of the mid afternooon heat and get a chance to go watch a couple of hours of the b grade at him in the afternoon.

Without taking into account juniors etc etc that time slot would suit me perfecetly.

Dylan McIver certainly deserves his spot in the As. Well earned and certainly havent rushed him in. Some pressure for spots should only strengthen the team.

With E.P taking all before it with some very big scores to start the season we looked at strengthening our batting line up. Also be the biggest test our bowlers have had this season so should hopefully be a very good game, just hope the rain stays away.

Dont do too much damage to his knee...we are hoping he will suit up for the Lodge in footy this year! Go easy on him!!

A very talented lad, brother maybe even better in a few years. Don't know about great family, dads a bit of a prick. ;)
I hope he spends sometime in the middle because all reports from his 155no last week were that he had too much time and was a superb innings, there is no doubt the kid can bat and we all hope he stays at the club but understand if he heads back out to the Jets next season.

dirty day for rosies, all out 119, wellington the major destroyer with 4 killed us through the middle session after we had progressed to 2/70. Think he had something like 4/8 off 11 at one stage or something stupid. Salisbury West 0/40 odd in reply.
