But ones with LED's go faster than the red ones.

I first looked at a computer and dot matrix printer for my medical practice in 1984 and was looking at $14K all up - that was alot back then and I shelved the idea.
In 1987, I got an Aquarius XT Turbo with 640K of RAM, one 5 1/2 inch floppy drive, and a 10MB HDD, plus an Epson 9 pin dot matrix printer for about $2700.00
Big brand names like IBM were about double that price still.

I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my Commodore 64 recently. It's now a Commodore 65 and I can't believe the difference!

On a quick count I appear to have bought about 12 computers, including 4 laptops, for personal use between the XT in 1987 and my current i5.
Fortunately, as a reseller I've bought wholesale, and I've been able to sell of most of the old ones privately before they got too old to be useful.

I'd go the next step if I were you and go for the VB Commodore ... better known as Commodore 78
