Have SACA appointed a succession of Shiit coaches over the last 2 decades or have they appointed good coaches who have just been unfortunate to have inherited a Shiit squad of players? Or maybe it's been a good squad of players and shiit coaches that have held them back?
At the end of the day, their redults have been embarrassingly PATHETIC.

I've got to the stage that i simply dont give a shiit anymore.

The coaching quality can't create hardness in a cricketer, he either has it or he doesn't and we have far too many mentally weak players...

Another gone

Over 87.1: Hilfenhaus to Kelly, no run, OUT, pushes forward but no real foot movement, takes the pad, big appeal and Umpire Wilson raises the finger

and then

Over 87.3: Hilfenhaus to George, no run, OUT, beaten, ball smashes into the stumps, four wickets for Hilfenhaus and a 100 run lead for the homeside

All out for 260

Comparisons
TAS 4/98
SA 4/152

TAS last 4 wickets 93
SA last 4 wickets 23

Dont expect tail enders to be match winners but they have to be able to bat a little

Cazzulino LBW b Sayers 19, Cowan/Cazzulino partnership 38, Next batsman is Doolan: Tas 1/38
Over 18.3: Sayers to Cazzulino, no run, OUT, playing across the crease, ball thunders into the pads, big appeal and the finger is straight up, not much doubt in Umpire Reiffel's mind

If cricket teams had a gender, the redbacks would be feminine

2/100

Over 31.6: Kelly to Doolan, no run, OUT, shoulders arms, ball moves back in a bit off the pitch, takes the pad and ricochets onto off stump, a woeful leave ....

It wasn't because of that one comment, more due to the fact that everything you post is bagging the piss out of them and it's getting tiring.

WCP

Maybe if their performances deserve anything more than bagging people will start to be more positive.

This team has been a joke at shield level for years now, you can only be optimistic for so long before these shithouse performances start to annoy people.

Alot of the problem i here from people who have played and been involved with the Redbacks over the last heap of years is that they are to comfortable to just be in the side, there is no real depth at grade level so once in the side you will struggle to go out. There very content where they are.

SA cricket has done stuff all for Australian cricket now for a long time, how many international cricketers have SA produced. All SA has done is re-ignite cricket careers for players who struggled to get a game at other states. Imho SA hasnt been serious about developing their own stars always taking the easier option of recruiting a player who has had one two good performances at state level before.
