Should lot nicely into the batting order at 6 and be used as a partnership breaker with the ball.

Phew had me stressed for a minute there. Lucky its only an Australian cricketer, they dont seem to be doing the best at the moment. We are flying in Sachin as our 1 allowed Import. Not sure where we would fit him in, may have a place somewhere in the top order for him (maybe)

If he doesnt get a bat at least you will have a great supporter base there with all the Indians that follow him.
Would probably struggle against our attack anyway, doesnt like pace on the bouncier wickets

Its not about results with Sachin. Its about the millions of Indians that will turn up, become members, and drink the bar dry.

That day was a sad day for inter association cricket. My fineleg had bottles thrown at him, not to mention death threats ect after the game. FFS, it a game of cricket!

Yeah, the boundary line was 2 metres inside the footy oval boundary and yet the guy hooked it back after it was past the goalposts to a teammate. Refused to even look at the boundary, trotted in 15 yards before looking and shrugging his shoulders. That was no honest mistake, any further and he would have had to dodge traffic. And the "bottle throwing" you talk about was a bloke throwing his bottle on the ground in front of himself in disgust at how blatant it was. The death threats one is a new addition, when did that one get invented?

thats ok Graham, your right to your opinion. Still not fair to taint whole club for the actions of one player. The bottle throwing happened at the other end of the ground, and it was more than one. I know it wasnt one of your players as most of them are great blokes and very talented cricketers. To be honest its a pleasure to watch them bat. if you go back on this site to an earlier thread you would see that the death threats were mentioned then too so its hardly new news.
If you ask me Graham you still havent moved on from the 94/95 Grand final you lost to PV.
More than happy to move on, just not fair to taint my or any club with the "cheaters" brush Graham, poor form
