I can't think of a dumber Cricketer to ever play for Australia. He'd have a horrible highlight reel of poor shot selection outs to go with the superb highlight reel of great shots. We need smart batsman to shore up top six, not blokes who throw their wicket away.

REB

hadds doesn't bat in the top 6. He did the other day because of marshys injury. And I can see where he was coming from. Wickets had been falling all around in the last2 hours and he saw most of them from behind the stumps and he wanted to take to the attack and get out hitting out rather then blocking, and that isn't his game

Yeah great logic  5/15 so he decides to charge down the wicket and hit a shot over cover or point.

Dumb Dumb Dumb. If you think that was acceptable you need to get a grip.

Not a fan of Johnson at all but can understand why he's there because on his day he's the best bowler in the world the problem is he is almost always not on his day. I can't forget how badly he destroyed the South Africans over there in '09 some of the best fast bowling I've ever seen, in a session 3/15 off 9 overs plus two retirements (opening up Kallis' chin & breaking Graeme Smith's hand).

He has done nothing since except become a worse bowler.

I like that David Warner coming into the squad for Shaun Marsh.

I dont think he will play though unfortunately.
Reckon they will bring in Khawaja for Marsh and Cummins for Siddle

Bit stupid if they didn't, he's in great form at the moment and I'd be expecting him to play.

So much for Siddle being one of the first picked.

Like i said only good on juicy wickets or against ordinary sides. Trys hard but doesnt have the tricks IMO.

Id have him ahead of MJ. Thought Sidds was our best bowler in 2nd innings

Absolute waste if Warner doesnt play. If he is carrying drinks in South Africa its a disgrace, he could be up at the GABBA having a good hit.

Would only prefer Warner to come in if they make two changes... Khawaja deserves the chance more.
