Have heard that it isnt a done deal with Appleton as he still has a year to run on his contract at Weerona Bay and they have been known in the past to not let them leave whilst still under contract.
Anyone else heard this ?

Wouldn't matter if he signed a 10 yr contract 3 yrs ago, once the new points system was put in place every club was told to resign there contracted players on approved sanfl contracts, which are also only 1 yr contracts, maybe the Bays need to pay more attention to the info there sent by the sanfl

Chappy played at Norths a couple of years ago, he would be about 37/38 now, was an absolute gun when he was younger but
would probably not play A Grade at Norths now.
