It may only be a rumour but heard today that flinders pk maybe keen to field sides in div 7 to keep there c & ds together each week?how would they go in that grade, had very strong sides in c3 and c6 winning flags in both grades this year?I reckon there cs would be top 3 and the ds would win div7r easy

Top 3 is a big call - Mitchell Park and Angle Vale would have something to say about that, as well as SHOC or Ingle Farm depending on what goes down - North Pines were decent last year but not sure if it was sustainable. As for Div7R, considering they only just got over the top of our E grade in the GF I would think they are probably a step below SHOC (and maybe Modbury depending on what the club does about their D grade). I'd also look at Henley maybe being pretty competitive in both grades

Flinders Park 'D' grade only just beat SHOC's 'E' grade in the GF for C6, so wouldn't think they'd have it all their own way in Div 7 Reserves. I think they would be mid range in Div 7 'A' grade and Top 3 for Div 7 'B' grade if they joined up.

What’s going on at Ingle Farm? Heard they’ve lost another coach. Paul Niven to take the reigns at Hope Valley C grade.

Watch out For TTG this year in Div 7 there depth will be really strong.

they have gone out and recruited guys that will only play B grade to really boost there depth.

the points system will even leave blokes in there B grade so it will filter down big time.

as for Flinders Park going from C3 to Div 7 its a huge step. if they improve by 20% they may scrap into 4th or 5th position. its when injuries start hitting up top the C grade can get affected and when playing A grade sides you need to be strong everyweek.

Angle Vale, Mitchell PK, SHOC (if they stay) Ingle Farm, Henley and even North Pines (on last year form), Smithfeld and TTG you would think will be stronger then Flinders PK.

Athelstone are out of Div 7 they are not having a D grade and not sure what Modbury's plans are. they did wont out of Div 7 last year. Footy Smart may be able to tell us what is happening at Modbury?

If so you'd expect a lot of disgruntled former Raggie D Graders to follow him.

Expect a shake up in this Div next year if what I have just heard is true with a Division 8/8R competition on the drawing board to be filled by C & D Grade teams meaning a couple of the teams in here may leave. An 8 team comp in both Div 7 & Div 8 is what they are planning.

flinders park only played one good quater in the grandfinal and thatwas the last both times we played shoc accountaed for them pretty easily so im pretty sure they would travell quite well up in div 7 as would the C grade very strong side and there is a fair bit of depth there so no way would we struggle in my opinion!!

This is always talked about every year but nothing has got off the ground.

if this does happen Surely it will be very one sided. Adelaide Uni and SHOC who are in Div6 or should be and will be way to strong for the other C and D grade teams? Maybe a Henley could be competitive?

personally i cant see why they push for this, the gulf between best and worse would be MASSIVE and bottom clubs will be on the receiving end of some thrashings. better to keep it how it is IMHO
