Because rhino averages almost 20 at FC level and has six half centuries and a hughest score of 94. Siddle is yet to get a 50 and averages 15

Siddle is proven at test level though.
Harris averages 10 in tests and doesnt look like improving on that. Siddle averages around 17 and can occupy the crease for valuable time. We saw Siddle in the first innings hang around with Clarkey and add valuable runs

And Ponting
How can we carry a number 3 who hasnt made a century for ages. Sad to see a star finishing this way. Had an average over 57 a few years back and now averages 53. I dont want to remember Ponting like this

It is so sad. I love the man but he does need to go i think.

Hughes and Haddin i also agree on. Hughes will continually get shown up at the top level by good bowlers.

Hughes bashing a touch unfair for mine...

Made 126 in his last test... nicked up twice to two unbelievably good balls in this test & he has been in fairly good form of late.. Give him a break!
He is only 22 & has 17 FC hundreds - give him time people. Don't be suprised that in 10-15 years time we will be talking about him in the same breath as Hayden.

Harris's batting has been extremely dissapointing, but i think a combination of injury and being picked as a strike bowler he has probably reduced his batting time in the nets significantly compared to a few years ago where he was one of the best lower order batsmen in domestic cricket. IRC He clubbed a six in an ING cup match of QLD to win at the AO?

I really enjoy reading the predictions on this site
I congratulate you for this one
One of the gutsiest posts in the Cricket forum Ive ever read
The only comparism with Matthew Hayden in 10-15 years will be they were both left hand opening batsman
I think Hughes is finished as a Test opener
Good pace attacks are simply too much for him to handle
He was better when he batted like an idiot early in his career, thesedays he tries to play correct and is suffering
He appears scared when facing shirt pitched bowling, and jumps too much
Im still waiting for a fast bowler to get him out LBW at Test level !
The only reason he will keep playing is becoz there is no opener in the Domestic Comp to take his spot

That's alright, pick him when he can bat.

Harris and Siddle, they hit the pitch hard, and on that deck thats what you need, just hit the line and length.

Drop catch to start the morning from Watson in slip....

SA 1/105.

Stating the obvious, need wickets ASAP, but these two Amla and Smith look pretty comfortable.
